Frequently Asked Questions
Ordering, shipping, warranty, and picking the right specs — if it isn't covered here, contact us and a human will answer.
How long does a custom stick take?
+
Custom sticks are built to order and typically ship within 6–8 weeks. Need one sooner? Our ready-to-ship inventory at tilthockey.com/store/sticks/available ships in 2–3 business days.
How much is shipping?
+
Shipping is a $25 CAD flat rate across Canada and the United States. Canadian orders of $300 CAD or more ship FREE, and free local pickup is available in the London, Ontario area.
Do you ship to the United States?
+
Yes. US orders are billed in USD at US-specific prices and are not charged Canadian HST. A 30% tariff surcharge applies to US orders — this is a US-government import tariff and is beyond our control.
What flex should I choose?
+
A common starting point is roughly half your body weight in pounds — a 160 lb player often plays an 80 flex. Our free flex guide at tilthockey.com/hockey-stick-school covers it in detail, including how cutting a stick down adds about 5 flex per inch.
Which curve pattern is right for me?
+
T92 (mid-toe, open face) is our most popular all-around pattern. T28 suits skilled forwards and danglers, T88 has the best backhand, and T91A favours defencemen. The full comparison lives in Hockey Stick School.
What's your warranty?
+
Sticks carry up to a 60-day warranty against manufacturing defects. Register your stick at tilthockey.com/register, and if something goes wrong, file a claim at tilthockey.com/warranty — you can track claim status online.
Can I return my order?
+
Accessories, apparel, and gear can be returned within 30 days in original condition for a full refund — email info@tilthockey.com to start a return. Custom sticks are built to your exact specifications and can't be returned or exchanged, but manufacturing defects are replaced free under warranty.
How do I track my order?
+
Go to tilthockey.com/orders/status and enter your order number (from your confirmation email) plus the email you used at checkout. When your order ships you'll also get an email with the tracking number.
